David Coverdale. Singer with Deep Purple and later Whitesnake (not to be confused with the more incendiary and similarly named and musically inclined group of the same era, Great White).

  1. Yikes! He used to be so hot in the 80's. He DOES look like a woman in this picture. :::Cries:::

  5. Whitesnake is a single word, and they were around long before the 1985 eponymous album where they became hair metal gods. Their cover of Bobby "Blue" Bland's "Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City" from 1978's _Snakebite_ is incendiary. Coverdale also fronted Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976.

  6. Andy--Thank you for calling the "White Snake" mistake to my attention. I corrected it. Thanks again. Keith

  7. I have met DC several times and can assure you that he does not look anything like a lesbian. Ask any female and they will assure you he is very much a mans man. One of the greatest blues-rock singers of all time and very in touch with his fans, talking to them every other day through his website.

  8. This pic reminds me of that old show "Beauty and the Beast". Remember it? Even in my 10 year old mind, it was stupid.

  11. Resembles more of a pretty woman that has unfortunate facial hair issues.

  12. I'm a kid of the 1980s. And I always thought it was truly bizarre for girls to wet their panties over men with long hair and make up, honestly. I hated metal at the time.

  13. he looks more like your crazy aunt who still thinks she's a 70s/80s rock groupie, which is a bit ironic?

  14. Very debatable. More like an aging-but-once-hot-yoga-instructor, but not a lesbian. I think the webmaster needs to be more discerning about who matches the aging lesbian aesthetic versus those who merely look like old women.
